“JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR” at Moorhead High School Theater

"JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR" posterMoorhead High Theatre is excited to announce their production of the musical theater classic JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.

Based on a concept album written more than 40 years ago by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR tells the story of the final 7 days in the life of Jesus Christ, through the troubled eyes of Judas Iscariot. The show is a musical theater staple, and features memorable songs such as “I Don’t Know How to Love Him”, “Everything’s Alright”, and “Hosanna”.

Moorhead High’s production is directed by Rebecca Meyer-Larson. “I am very excited to bring this classic-rock opera to the Moorhead High stage and thrilled to present with a modern political edge,” Meyer-Larson reflected. “The electrifying score has energized rehearsals and the culturally significant story has provided rich educational opportunities for our artists.”

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR will be performed at Moorhead High School during three weekends: November 15-17, November 22-24, and November 29 & 30 with show times at 7:30 p.m. for all performances.

Tickets are $10 for adults (ages 19 and over) and $6 for students (ages 18 and under). You can reserve tickets by calling the MHS Activities Office at 218-284-2345. BUY TICKETS NOW for JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR!
